Being a newly formed alumni organization, the
San Beda University Accountancy Alumni
Association (SBUAcAA) held its first gettogether
last December 14, 2022 at Nautilus Bar
and Okujo Restaurant (Prime Hotel), Quezon City.
Considering the limited time to organize the said
gathering of Bedans who took Accounting in San
Beda CAS for at least two years, the Christmas
party got a relatively good attendance. Dubbed “A
Gathering for a Cause” this initial fund-raising
activity of the SBUAcAA was meant to create a
scholarship fund for indigent but deserving students
who wish to experience Bedan accountancy
education.
Dr. Joselito Diga, SBUAcAA President, delivered
the Welcome Remarks before an audience
composed of Bedan alumni from different
accounting classes from 1980 to present.
Prof. Joffre Alajar, SBUAcAA Executive Director
and former professor of almost all the alumni
present, delivered an inspirational message to
encourage everyone to support the newly created
SBUAcAA. It was another memorable Bedan affair
successfully held even in the midst of the pandemic.
