Herald the Bedan Accountants Coming!!!

The San Beda University Accounting Alumni Association (SBUAcAA) held its 1st Christmas Get-Together for A Cause at the Nautilus Bar and Okujo Restaurant last 14 December 2022. This gathering is also exciting for the Board of Trustees since this is also their first official face-to-face activity since SBUAcAA’s creation last January 2022.
Although initially conceptualized as a simple gathering, Bedans from all ages attended said activity – from the 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s and 2020s. Mr. Johnny Ang, SBUAcAA Vice President, led the opening prayer while Dr. Joselito Diga and Prof. Joffre Alajar, President and Executive Director of the SBUAcAA, respectively, also delivered their welcome remarks. Attendees had the opportunity to meet again their college classmates and foster fellowship with Bedan brothers and sisters from both higher and recent batches. It was also notable that each of the prestigious accounting firms graced the event by sending their respective representatives.
The event was indeed successful as its objectives were met. Aside from the usual fellowship among Bedans, the night had overflowing food and beer. There were also short games, raffle and a band playing songs that relate to all attendees. The fund raising component of the activity is also a success.
The Board of Trustees thanks the organizing team led by Mr. Luj Danao, Class of 2006. Mr. Nick Torres, Class of 2011 and the ever-reliable Secretariat of the association. We look forward to seeing more accounting graduates in the succeeding events of the SBUAcAA. Indeed, may our fellowship never cease! Animo San Beda!!!
